27 Oct 2012.

Do not forget all love, supports and sacrifices
that your beloved family has given you all the time.
Happy birthday to you, boy, happy 20th.
Wish you luck and may your dreams come true.

Life is a great big canvas,
and you should throw all the paint on it you can.
Birthday is supposed to be celebrated with the beloved.

By the way, for those aviation enthusiasts
who visit my blog because of aviation-related news,
you may want to know that Singapore Airlines will terminate
its ultra-longhaul flights to Los Angeles and Newark soon
in the fourth quarter of next year as Airbus, the aircraft manufacturer,
has agreed to buy back the carrier's A340-500s.
What a regret, for your information, those flights
are actually the longest non-stop flights in the world record
which respectively need 18 and 16 hours.
Anyway, with the phasing out of the fleet,
the airlines will also increase its flights to the State
via Tokyo and Frankfurt with its A380 superjumbo jets.

Unsolved.

Perhaps, we all were wrong.

It's funny to me.

Seriously? Did you just ask for our respect by
giving us so much embarrassment in front of everyone?

At least I say Hi and smile to you first.
I even think that I'm more discipline than you, friend.
I "respected" you, until the moment you shouted "fxxk" at us.

Regrets.

Sometimes, I think that mum has wasted too much money on me,
I shouldn't have gone to study in a private school to make myself suffer,
I shouldn't have gone to the college, although I quite enjoyed my studies there,
if I had known that I would be chosen by the company eventually.
Even if taking up the Diploma course was right,
I should have applied for JPA,
I should have finished the course so that I didn't need
to repay the study loan to the government with first class.
Those decisions were seriously a mistake.

Just allow me to grumble.

However, I'm clear,
life is full of regrets,
do not blame because
it's the past that brings you here today.
And above all, I'm really feeling great,
I have never been so happy before,
that's enough but it would be perfect
if I'm not so far away from my family.

Past? Just fxxk it,
learn what you need to learn
and do all your best at the present.

Monsoon

It's already raining when I woke up at seven o'clock this morning.
I believe it started at midnight, the downpours just continued until
three o'clock in the afternoon then gradually transformed into drizzle
before it stopped. It's the longest rain that I have seen so far.
With no any need to guess, I can tell it's Monsoon because it's almost time.

Generally, from November to February, it's the Monsoon raining season in East coast.
Kelantan, the state which I'm staying in now, is exactly in the region. In simple terms,
during this season, the winds from the northeast over the South China seas
brings heavy rains, thus the rivers can overflow and floods could happen.
Even though the aunties said that our place wouldn't be affected much,
the rain, like today, ruined my plan to wash and dry my clothes.
Anyway, I'm gonna prepare myself for the first Monsoon ever.

Today's so cold and gloomy, I should have got myself
a cup of hot coffee, played some music and gone EMO :D

Last but not least, let's me share some ideas about manufacture of the aircraft.
Do you know that the aircraft are actually made globally? For example,
Airbus's A350 XWB, its components are pre-assembled
in the various Airbus sites across Europe : Broughton in the UK, Bremen,
Germany, France and Spain. They are then transported in the air by the Beluga
to the final assembly line in Toulouse. Speaking of which, Airbus is now working on
the first flight test A350 XWB. Please follow them on Facebook if you would like
to know the progress of the airliner which is claimed to have extra wide body.

Sour grapes.

To be upset of what you don't have is to waste what you do have.
Do not be anxious because there are actually some advantages for being single,
at least you need not worry about someone, oh yeah,
it's another good example of sour grapes but looking at my friends
who are around me like facing relationship problems everyday
already make me stressed enough. Too many failures in the past.
Anyway, just remain steady, be lovable to be loved,
nothing will stop you when fate comes.

I have three days off starting from tomorrow,
thanks to Kelantan FA, here I wish you all the best,
please win the match and get me another holiday perhaps.

I'm not anti-social but I just don't like to talk cock and
I don't answer questions which I think they will invade my privacy.
Remember that respect is to be earned but not given. Please.

Before I end my post tonight, I would like to share something about AirAsia.
Do you know that every Friday is Fabulous Fly-Day for the best low-cost airline?
A lot of fabulous deals would be available from 11am to 4pm on this day and
the Fabulous Fly-Day is back tomorrow. Grab your tickets fast at www.airasia.com.

Motivated

I was actually quite surprised by the figure
when Capt. Nik revealed the amount of his salary,
as a captain before leaving Singapore Airlines,
to us in the talk which was about Multi-crew Pilot License just now.

Aren't you motivated after hearing that?

Anyway, today is another not-studying day because
there's nothing more important than catching up on sleep :D

How to be a successful pilot? Interesting topic.
Just remind me to blog this when I get to the left-hand seat one day.
I see myself there 8 years later, more or less.

Stressed.

I'm so stressed to see people keep posting things that I don't wish to recall, like the activities that I don't participate any longer, on Facebook. On the other hand, there are also some very aviation-enthusiastic guys, whom I think they are too hardcore sometimes, non-stop posting things about aircraft, which I almost touch everyday. Maybe you will ask me not to log on Facebook then. I just cannot quit Facebook because it has become my habit to update my daily life and stalk my friends there. Friends, just share something about nice food, hot chicks, romantic songs or some beautiful places to go, please.

Not sure if Facebook has the fuction
which you can use to check who have viewed your page,
otherwise you might be surprised to see me in the first place.
I need some time to confirm my feelings because I tend to have a desire
to seek for difficulties and make them down. I just don't want this to happen.

Tonight, if the weather is favourable enough,
the history of human limitations would be rewritten.
because there's a guy, who is called Felix, going to ascend
to 120000ft, doing a freefall, reaching supersonic speeds
then parachuting to the ground. Wish him luck!

Cool instructor

Basically this is a continuation from the last post,
which I said I had a very awesome instructor.
Today, he told us another story which was
he had experienced more than 10g once
when he was flying the fighter jet with his officer
in a combat-practicing sortie many years ago!

For those who don't know what "g" is,
I have to tell you that it's the load factor
which is the ratio of Lift to Weight of an aircraft.
Let's say if you are experiencing 10g,
your weight is actually 10 times heavier than the original,
so that you cannot move any part of your body at that time,
all your blood will flow down and accumulate at your legs,
causing you to have a black-out and unconsciousness.

Talking back about 10g, it's actually almost the limit of the aircraft.
The Limit Load Factor(the maximum load to be expected in normal service)
for a fighter jet is 9g, multiplying by 1.5 which is the safety factor,
the Ultimate Load Factor(failing load of a structure)
which a fighter jet can maintain is 13.5g.
What I'm saying is that the aircraft cannot fly more than 13.5g,
otherwise the aircraft structure might fail and break off, however,
even though you haven't exceeded the ULF, below LLF,
the aircraft structure might also have permanent deformation.
This happened to my instructor! The wings of the aircraft rippled
because of the very high load factor experienced, anyway,
my instructor managed to bring it back to the base and landed safely.

Isn't he cool?

Respect

I fucking hate people giving me nickname, that's it.

ShingBalls? You would never want to see him go mad.

Halfway through JAA1

Having been in the ground school for one and a half month,
we are now considered halfway through Phase 1,
there are another 38 days to our JAA1 and DCA tests.
Studies are alright so far. It's getting harder
but I think it's normal, at least handleable at the moment.

Speaking of which, I must talk about an instructor of mine.
You know, it's so cool to have an instructor who is from the India Air Force.
Seriously, I have great respect for him and it increases day by day,
especially when I knew that he had flown quite a lot of different fighter jets
and the most awesome thing is that he has flown to 90000ft
where normally people couldn't survive
without adequate equipment, for examples, pressure suit and oxygen supply.

Even though I tend to get nervous during his classes,
because he always asks us to explain the theories,
some more I sit in the first row,
it's indeed my honour to be able to learn from him.
A excellent instructor he is :)

MIG25 - The fighter which my instructor used to fly M3.0(3 times faster than the speed of sound) at 90000ft.

Last but not least, in order to make this blog more interesting and rich in contect,
I have decided to touch on more topics in the near future,
which might or might not be related to aviation and my daily life,
so that I can get this blog more attention.
At first, I thought of keeping a record of my young life by remembering it with words
but I'm not sure if the readers of this blog are more than ten.
There's no fun if it's so.
I believe you must be able to understand it if you are reading this.
So let's try something new?

AirAsia Japan now have direct flights from Japan to Koria(Seoul and Busan)
while AirAsia Malaysia has also just launched flights to Lombok, Indonesia.
Aren't you excited yet? Aren't you interested?
Hold on! Promotion for year 2013 has started as well.
haha! Kind of promoting for my own company, as what I have said,
this's an experiment for my blog, anyway,
those who're planning to go on a vacation,
just check it out at www.airasia.com!

391 days

Sometimes, it's dispiriting to know that friends around me,
who are at the same age with me and who I haven't met for quite a long time,
have already started earning money by being employed or running their small business.
Some of them look like doing very well, eating at classy restaurants, travel to foreign countries,
having a pretty girlfriend/handsome boyfriend, driving a nice car,
while I'm still doing my initial training and only getting a small amount of allowance every month.
I'm actually grateful for all things that I have got at the moment but I hope for more.
Well, I'm being a bit greedy today, I admit yet I think it's normal to have ambitions.

I can't wait to graduate and start flying around the world.
I want my parents to relax and enjoy their lives with no worries.
One more year! Ground school seems okay but problems are on the flying side.
Anyway, I can do nothing now, as always, just convert the ambition into forces
that keep me moving forward. Work hard.

Counting down.

Adam said I was actually good-looking and he didn't understand
why I didn't have a girlfriend. Well, I wonder why also.
