In his dream, he could fly,
fly in the sky, the sky of dreams,
but all these things are not illusory now,
they are happening because of Buddha,
every god and Tangs' ancestor whom I have prayed to.
Also thanks to my family for so much love and bottomless support.
In fact, I have nothing special to talk today
but I would like to share the happiness
of a friend of mine who has just clocked
1500 flying hours on the A320 here.
He is Andy, a First Officer who
serves the same company with me,
though I'm still in initial training :P
Congratulations to him on reaching the hours
to unfreeze his Airline Transport Pilot License
and qualify for the promotion to Senior First Officer.
Nobody, except the pilots, knows
how tough the road has been for him.
And now I'm following his footsteps to the same goal.
You might be asking when my turn will come?(To be a SFO)
haha! By 2016, I extimate, but the problem is my batch
is almost one month behind the schedule at the moment.
Our progress is being held up due to some reasons,
like bad weather, aircraft servicebility and instructor availability.
Unlucky indeed. I know things won't just go so smoothly.
Anyway, APFT said they were still aiming to clear my batch within 18 months
as they had promised to AirAsia. Let's see what happens in the end.
We are clocking hours very slow now
as there are two batches of AirAsia cadets
and a big number of private cadets flying now.
So in order to avoid the competition for the slots,
my batch is going back to ground school
at the end of next month to start JAA1, JAA2 and JAA3
in a hope that we would get priority
when we are back to hangar in February next year.
To be frank, it's really frustrating to leave in the middle
but we have no other better choices.
Anyway, TVB has started filming the continuous episode
of the drama "Triumph in the skies" which talks about
the life of being a commercial pilot recently
It's gonna be one of the highlights and hot topics of the year
for those aviation enthusiasts and drama followers.
Pray more. Work hard. Live well.
